[WATCH] Coast Guard Rescues Two Men Off Boat In Barnegat Inlet
On Wednesday night, A 53-foot fishing vessel ran aground at the jetty in the Barnegat Inlet.
The "Bay of Isle" started to take on water and it was deemed too risky to send a Coast guard rescue boat to off-load the two passengers stranded on the damaged boat, so the decision was made to send in a Coast Guard helicopter in to rescue the passengers of the boat.
I've been boating for years now, and I still haven't personally taken my own boat through the Barnegat Inlet based on how easy it could be at certain points to run aground if you're not paying close attention to the markers.
