I wish I was a kid again because the newly renovated Bayside Park in Brick Township looks really cool.

The park was closed back in January for scheduled renovations and the park was to be reopened around Memorial Day Weekend, but the COVID-19 pandemic messed everything up.

According to Shorebeat:

The improved park includes a new gazebo, an enlarged and improved playground with safety surface, a new picnic area, new benches and shade structures on the boardwalk, bait tables for people to fish and crab, a concrete patio for activities and two concrete cornhole games. A new boardwalk was previously installed on the site. The project also included landscaping and installation of sod and an irrigation system.

I think Brick has some of the nicest parks in Ocean County where Brick Mayor Ducey has made it a point to redevelop the town's park. Windward Beach where the annual Summerfest takes place has been renovated, and it looks great.

Angela Hibbard Park on Drum Point Road is a great park because they have a big playing area for the kids, but they also have two fully enclosed pens for dogs to run around freely.

One enclosure is for small dogs and the other enclosure is for medium to large dogs. Both sides have water fountains for dogs, and they provide waste bags and garbage cans for when you have to clean up after your pet
