$200K Jersey Cash Five Winning Ticket Sold in Ortley Beach

The winning continues on the Jersey Shore for lottery players. It seems each week we hear another story of a winning lottery ticket being sold in Ocean County.

If you bought a Jersey Cash 5 ticket for the Saturday, September 19 drawing, check your tickets because you might have won some money...A lot of money!!

$200, 959 to be exact

It was back in June that the New Jersey Lottery announced they would be pumping up the prizes for the Jersey Cash 5 game, and over the past few weeks we've seen evidence of the 33% increase. Since the beginning of August, THREE million dollar Jersey Cash 5 tickets have been sold. On August 7th, there was a jackpot of $1,669,143; on August 21st, a record-high jackpot of $1,813,783; the September 4th jackpot was the second-highest ever.

But most recently, a Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $200,000 was sold at the Acme Supermarket in Ortley Beach/Seaside Heights.

The winning numbers were: 03, 17, 19, 24, and 36 and the XTRA number was: 02.
