Ocean County Mall Opening New Kids Play Area

On Saturday April 6th, the Ocean County Mall is holding a Grand Opening celebration for PLAY, a new state-of-the-art play area.

PLAY will include feature a forest theme, and include interactive play panels, a stone bridge, and animal elements catered towards children. The area will also feature some amenities for parents, including phone/tablet charging stations.

The Grand Opening runs from 11a-1p on April 6th, and will be a family-friendly event with prizes, face painting, balloon animals, a magic show, and goodie bags for the first 100 attendees.

It's interesting to see how malls are adapting to survive in the online-shopping era, so bringing a new play area for kids is a good way to keep people coming to a physical location to shop.
