The Ocean County Mall in Toms River is looking amazing and it's great seeing more and more people walking through.

NJ.com reports that last year, in 2023 Walmart had to close 24 stores across the country, including laying off 200 people in the Garden State who worked at a Walmart distribution center. Now, NJ.com is saying that more store closings are in the works for the massive chain.

Recently, another Jersey Shore staple has announced that after nearly 5 decades in business, serving the community and tourists alike, it'll be closing its doors for good.
