More changes are coming ot the area surrounding the Ocean County Mall, as we finally know what's going to be taking over the old On The Border Mexican Grill that closed last year.

And we've seen a good bit of change in this area over the past few years, the most notable being the closures of both On The Border and Bahama Breeze; more on that here.

That being said, the area surrounding the Ocean County Mall has also seen some new additions, which is nice.

Tommy's Tavern And Tap Now Open In Toms River, NJ

Just up the road from the Mall, Tommy's Tavern and Tap has now opened, replacing the TGI Fridays that closed off Hooper, and so far, it's been a great addition to the area.

And now, it looks like On The Border will soon be home to a new beauty store in Ocean County.

Sephora Will Soon Replace The Former On The Border In Toms River, NJ

According to Jersey Shore Online, the former Mexican Restaurant will soon be opening as a full-blown Sephora.

If you're not familiar with Sephora, it's a high-end makeup company that also offers beauty consultation services and other in-store services.

At this point in time, there's no official opening date or grand opening scheduled, but it's nice to see some new life being breathed into the area surrounding the Ocean County Mall.
