Free Beer & Hot Wings – Live Grenade Hot Potato

Apparently, this is part of Chinese army training...I'm not sure exactly what they're training for.

Something about this seems fake...specifically, the second time they pass it around, the last soldier doesn't even throw the grenade into the hole, he just drops it on the ground, but the explosion still seems to come from the hole.  What do you think?
