A man who fled Lakewood Police on Sunday is arrested by Toms River Police on Monday at the Ocean County Mall.

Lakewood Police requested the assistance of locating "Dominique Holly" on Sunday night who eluded them in a car earlier in the day and an arrest warrant had been issued for the suspect.

It was around 1:00 am on Monday that Toms River Police officers spotted Holly and the car near Hooper Avenue and Route 37.

Toms River Police attempted to stop the vehicle but it took off eastbound on Route 37 at a high rate of speed.

Given the danger presented to the public the Toms River Police officer’s terminated the pursuit.

While on a separate call for an unrelated investigation on Monday afternoon the police were summoned to the Ocean County Mall and while in the mall parking lot, officers located Holly and the vehicle he was driving.

Holly was arrested on the outstanding Lakewood arrest warrant without incident and transported to police HQ.

His vehicle Holly was impounded and as a result of the Toms River investigation he was additionally charged with eluding, obstruction by flight and several motor vehicle offenses.

Holly is currently in the Ocean County Jail pending a hearing.
