New Restaurant, Brewery Could Be Coming To Toms River

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse already has a NJ location in Teterboro, and planning has begun to open its second location at the Ocean County Mall.

The closure of Sears could provide a location for BJ's, but according to papers filed with the Toms River Zoning Board, the eatery will not be located in the mall itself; instead, the plan is to build a nearly 10,000 square foot building on the mall's property.

BJ's started business in 1978. Their website menu lists "award-winning handcrafted beer", "world-renowned desserts", and more.

The TR Zoning Board hearing will be held January 17th at 6pm at the township municipal complex.
