That's a big deal, HGTV could have picked any town from any state in the country and yet it selected one of Jeresy's most beloved towns.

What Makes Cape May, NJ HGTV's Favorite Christmas Town?

According to APP, there are a few reasons Cape May was selected as the TV network's favorite spot during Christmas.

The quaint gas-lit downtown was one reason, the perfect and gorgeous Victorian houses decorated for Christmas were another reason, and of course, they had to mention the candle-lit house tour the town offers at Christmas.

In addition, APP reports that HGTV loves the fact that the town has holiday-themed trolley rides which are a blast, Congress Hall opens a festive little shopping area for people, and there's a Winter Wonderland Breakfast with Santa for the kids.
