As we get are getting closer and closer to the 22nd Annual Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon, I can tell once again that the community is getting excited about the upcoming event.

The Radiothon gets underway this Monday, October 19th in the Target/Lowes Shopping Center on Hooper Avenue in Toms River.

Varacchi gets things going by broadcasting live at 3 p.m, and then at 5 p.m, Toms River Fire Company No.1 puts me up on the Billboard using their ladder firetruck

Once again, our goal is to raise $105,700 for Ocean of Love so they can help families in Ocean County who have children with Cancer.

It has been a tough year for Ocean of Love dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been a lot harder helping the families while dealing with COVID, and Ocean of Love has lost out on many of their planned fundraisers throughout the year due to the pandemic. Money is tight for them, so they really need our help this year more than ever.

Ocean of Love is a non-profit, charitable 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to helping Ocean County children with cancer and their families. Our purpose is to assist the children through their illness. We provide financial and emotional support so that they can experience the "normal" joys of childhood, knowing their lives are significant and meaningful to each and every one of us.

There are a few different ways on how you can make a donation to Ocean of Love.

You can stop by our live broadcast at the Billboard starting Friday at 3 p.m, or you can go to the Ocean of Love website and make a donation using your credit card.

I was going through the Hawk Archives earlier today and I came across this quick video going back to 2017...Enjoy
