No matter how many times I see it, it still gives me chills.

No Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon would be complete without the final visit by Toms River Emergency Services.

The Lowe's/Target parking lot on Hooper Avenue in Toms River was absolutely overflowing with dozens of fire, EMT, and police vehicles flashing their red, white, and blue emergency lights. Their sirens were wailing so loudly that I'm pretty sure they could be heard in Cape May County.

And for what reason? They had one very special delivery: $16,507. Simply incredible.

Check it out now:

We cannot thank this amazing group of individuals who not only serve our community on a daily basis but are also selfless enough to make this kind of generous contribution.

Afterward, I was honored to have them bring me back down to the ground level for the first time this week. From there, the final number was unveiled:

$155,625

That's a new record and it was a finale that I have been dreaming about and I still can't wrap my mind around it.

Thank you so much to all of Toms River Emergency Services, to everyone who donated this week, and of course, to Ocean of Love for being there for Ocean County children.
