Shake Shack Opening New Location In Jersey

Shake Shack already has four locations in New Jersey, but none of them are really close enough to the Jersey Shore to be worth the drive (Route 17, Paramus; Garden State Plaza, Paramus;  Bridgewater Commons; and Eisenhower Parkway, Livingston).

Now, the company has plans to open up a new spot on Route 9 in Freehold.

The proposed location is at the corner of Route 9 and East Freehold Road, and would replace the closed Getty gas station.

I'm not taking a bold stance when I say I'm a fan of burger joints. I like Smashburger, Red Robin, Five Guys. I got to try In-N-Out when I visited Arizona and every once in a while I get sad that I can't get it out here. I've never tried Shake Shack, but once they open they'll definitely be high on my list to check out.
