Shake Shack Opening At Monmouth Mall

Shake Shack recently opened their location in the Monmouth Rest Area on the Parkway, and now you won't have to jump on the Parkway to try one of their burgers - a new location is opening at Monmouth Mall.

The rest area was sort of an odd Grand Opening. I would have expected a big lead up, teasing the date, offering the first 100 people burgers for a year, that sort of thing. Instead, it was just "psst, we're opening tomorrow!" and that was it. It was already weird to have the location in a rest area rather than its own restaurant.

The new Shake Shack will take over the building that was formerly Bobby's Burger Palace, so we'll see if these burgers last longer.

The restaurant opens at 11am on Saturday, August 17th.
