This One Of A Kind Brewery Is Getting Ready To Open In New Jersey
One of my favorite after-work activities is checking out local breweries.
It's also one of my favorite weekend activities.
Jersey is home to over one hundred and forty unique breweries, I've crossed a few off my list, but am nowhere near close to trying them all!
I'm a big fan of Heavy Reel Brewing in Seaside Heights, mainly because it's walking distance from my apartment, but also because their Dronwing Clown DIPA is amazing.
Right across from the station here in Toms River is Battle River Brewing, which is another good spot to stop for happy hour after wrapping up in the afternoons.
I was there a couple of weeks ago during the Toms River Irish Festival, and it was a beautiful madhouse of craft beer and Irish music.
There are lots of breweries around Jersey that have a great selection of brews, fantastic food, and really good views.
Especially around the Jersey Shore.
But, did you ever notice that there aren't any breweries that you could, say, tie your boat off at and saddle up to the bar for a quick beer?
There are a few bars around the Shore where you can do that, but as far as breweries go, there aren't any.
That's about to change soon when a popular New Jersey Brewer gets ready to open its very first Brewery.
This place is already featured in taprooms across the state and will be opening its very own taproom on April 14th.
The new brewery features two waterfront beer gardens, fire pits, and yard games, and will give boaters the option to dock their boats and grab a beer.
The new brewery is coming to the Port Monmouth section of Middletown and is opening in the old Shoal Harbor Lobster Company building located at 909 Port Monmouth Road.
According to APP, there's going to be a weekend-long celebration from April 14th to April 16th to celebrate the opening of Ross Brewings' first Brewery and Taproom.
The weekend celebration will feature live music, 12 beers on tap, plus celebrity bartenders, and of course craft beer with waterfront brews.
