Rock 2 Adopt In Bayville Postponed Due To Nor’easter, New Date Announced

Living near the shore is usually amazing; however, we're getting into that time of year when it can become a little dicey, thanks to intense coastal storms that brush up against the state. And when that happens, it can cause a lot of problems, especially when it comes to weekend plans.

Rock 2 Adopt In Veterans Park Has Been Postponed Due To Weather

For example, this weekend, we were supposed to be rocking out for a good cause at Rock 2 Adopt in Veterans Park in Bayville. Sadly, thanks to this weekend's forecast, the 2-day music festival has been postponed.

Why Was Rock 2 Adopt Postponed This Weekend?

The call was made on the morning of 9/24. Rock 2 Adopt organizer Donna Torres reached out to all of the bands that were supposed to perform,  and to us here at the radio station, to let us know that, thanks to the Nor'easter that we're supposed to battle against this weekend, Rock 2 Adopt will not be happening on 9/26 and 9/27 as originally planned.

That being said, it's going to take more than some inclement weather to stop Rock 2 Adopt 2026. Berkeley Township was very quick to work with the festival to nail down a backup date, and Rock 2 Adopt will happen this year, but on a new weekend.

Is The Band Lineup Still The Same For Rock 2 Adopt?

Now, because of the rearranging of dates, the band schedule will be changing. For example, my band, Right On!, was originally going to play Saturday night at 8 PM. However, with the new dates, we're going to be performing on 10/17 at 3 PM, in order to keep another prior gig that night.
