Della Cucina in Toms River Might Be the Jersey Shore’s Best Kept Secret
How often do you drive by a restaurant in Jersey and say to yourself, "Maybe one day I'll finally stop by there," only to realize you've been saying that for five years, and you're yet to stop in?
That's how I felt about Della Cucina, off Route 37 in Toms River. I used to drive by it every day to get to work when I lived in Seaside Heights, and always said, "One day I'll pop in," but life always got in the way.

Fortunately, the sandwich playoffs rectified that problem, and I'm so happy I finally got to check this place out, because I was blown away by what they were serving up.
Della Cucina Is A Hidden Gem Right Here In Toms River, NJ
Located right off 37, near the jug handle for Washington Street, you'll find Della Cucina. When you walk in, you're greeted with a little Italian Market that sells all sorts of delicious grab-and-go meals, meats, salads, cutlets, desserts, and so much more.
But the real star of the show here is what they're serving up behind the counter: the sandwiches. And Della Cucina does them cold and hot, and they are unbelievably delicious.
Della Cucina Is Also A Full-Blown Italian Restaurant You'll Want To Try
What really impressed me about Della Cucina is that it's so much more than just subs and sandwiches. They have a full-blown sit-down Italian restaurant attached to the sandwich shop. And the Italian dishes that I saw getting served up while I was there filming were making my mouth water.
You'll want to grab a reservation though, because Della Cucina fills up quickly.
