That's what you get when you go to Claudio's Gourmet in Brick. This place is a hidden gem, tucked right off Mantoloking Road; if you drive too fast, you just may pass one of the best sandwich shops I've been to in recent memory.

House-Made Mozzarella, And Massive Sandwiches Make The Difference

They do everything by hand, whether it's making their mozzarella fresh, in-house, or breading and frying their own chicken cutlets each day.

When I went to visit Claudio's for the sandwich playoffs, I was blown away. The owner, John, took me through the process of a few of his signature sandwiches, and he takes real pride in what he does, and it reflects in the quality, size, and taste of his sandwiches!
