Is Bagel Bistro and Grille Closed in Toms River, NJ? Here’s What We Saw

The food landscape of Downtown Toms River is always changing, and I love trying to figure out what's coming to town next. Like a few weeks ago, we finally saw the opening of Glizzy's By Harry, the shore's newest hot dog spot, and after having the Chicago Glizzy the other week, I'm in love.

We're also seeing the addition of a new local book shop coming to the Shops on Main, and the Bunny Haven Cafe is now open in Toms River as well.

This is all great, but the other day, I was going for a walk to grab an iced coffee from Spire, and saw that one of my favorite spots to grab a breakfast sandwich in Downtown Toms River seemed to be closed.

Is Bagel Bistro And Grille Closed In Downtown Toms River?

Bagel Bistro and Grille was my go-to for breakfast on the days I'd be filling in for the morning show at the radio station. The staff is super friendly, the food is so good, and the prices were perfect.

However, when I walked past the storefront of Bagel Bistro and Grille the other day, I noticed that the name was scraped off the front glass. And there was a big sign on the front window that said: "Coming soon, sandwiches, salads, soups and more".

The inside looked gutted of its tables, chairs, and equipment.

This leaves me with so many questions! Is Bagel Bistro and Grille closed? Is it just undergoing some remodeling? Will it return to Downtown Toms River? Or is something new going to take its place?

Any Idea What's Going On With Bagel Bistro And Grille?

Between you and I, I hope it's just a remodel, because this was one of my favorite spots downtown to grab a quick bite to eat.
