It's 10:30p on Monday night, and Day 1 of the radiothon is slowly coming to a close. (I never really know if this is actually considered Day 1 because we started at 5pm).

In any event, I'm hanging out in my tent listening to the pitter patter of rain drops. Reflecting on the days events. I'm also thinking quite a bit about my mom who passed away in July. This is the first radiothon without her words of encouragement. (I know though she is looking down upon me keeping me safe)

I could barely sleep last night. Kept on having these recurring dreams that my tent won't fit on the billboard. (it's amazing what the brain will do. And yes...it fits) What started as a beautiful 70 degree day has turned into a rainy night feeling the temps drop ever so slowly. But regardless of the dreams, and weather, I am excited once again to do this!

So today was a pretty normal day for the beginning of the radiothon. Big thanks for Toms River Fire Department who got me up on the billboard at 5pm. Big thanks to my friends, co-workers, and Ocean of Love families that came by to show their support for my week long journey.

So far we raised about $4200.00. It's a start, but it's a far cry from what we need. $105,700. So please Ocean County (and beyond), let's help the children and families out and hit our goal

So now as I continues to hear the raindrops fall, and as I stay warm and dry in my tent, I can't stop thinking. I GOTTA PEE!!!
