BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse coming to the lot of the Ocean County Mall is looking to open this July.

I drove by the location earlier today, and it's coming along quite nicely. It looks like a nice place

BJ’S RESTAURANT & BREWHOUSE TO OPEN AT OCEAN COUNTY MALL IN JULY

(Toms River, NJ), May 14, 2019 — Another exciting element of Ocean County Mall’s redevelopment came into focus today as Simon®, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, announced the new BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse will open at the shopping center in early July.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse will be approximately 7,500 square feet in size and will seat approximately 230 guests. The menu features  BJ’s ® award-winning, signature deep-dish pizza, BJ’s own handcrafted beers (and other local brews) as well as a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, pastas, sandwiches, specialty salads and desserts including the unique Pizookie ® dessert.

BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. owns and operates 204 restaurants as of April 2019, located in 27 states. This will be the first BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in the Jersey Shore area.

The first BJ’s restaurant was opened in 1978 in Orange County, California and centered on bringing the unique flavor of deep-dish pizza to California. Over the years the BJ’s concept was expanded from its beginnings as a small pizzeria to a full service, high energy casual dining restaurant with over 100 menu items, including appetizers, specialty salads, soups, pastas, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.

In 1996, BJ’s introduced its own handcrafted beers through its first BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery in Brea, California and today the brewing team continues to passionately brew a variety of award-winning handcrafted beers which can be enjoyed on tap every day. In addition to the ten regular signature beers, including BJ’s Brewhouse Blonde and Jeremiah Red, BJ’s also offers regular seasonal beers such as BJ’s Pumpkin Ale and Annual Grand Cru, and even experimental beers that are brewed out of the company’s award winning Boulder, CO brewery.
