Sadly, it seems as though closures are becoming more and more part of the norm in the Garden State. Businesses and restaurants that you thought would last forever end up closing just a few months or years after launching.

New Jersey Has Seen Several Big Closures In The Recent Past

I always think about the Big Dogs Cafe in Bayville. When it reopened off Route 9 a year or two ago, I thought to myself, "This is it, they found their home in Bayville, this is great," only to see them close a few months ago. In the case of Big Dogs, the restaurant was replaced by a Colombian restaurant that seems to be doing pretty well!

1663 Market In Little Silver, NJ, Announced Its Closure This Month As Well

We also just saw 1663 Market close its doors this month, after less than a year of operating in the former Sickles Market location in Little Silver. More on that here.

Now, it appears as though another beloved New Jersey restaurant is closing its doors, and this place was well known for having an incredible burger.

Kitchen 519 In Glendora, NJ, Announced It Has Closed For Good

The restaurant had been a staple in the community after opening on Evesham Road in Glendora, NJ, and announced via social media that it would be closing for good.

Kitchen 519 cites the recent governemnt shut down, as well as other hardships in the restaurant industry, led to this tough decision.

But just because Kitchen 519 is closed, doesn't mean you still can't get their food; they also have a location in Philadelphia off Front Street called Revival BBQ, and you can get some seriously good eatin' there too.
