When a local New Jersey business closes its doors, it leaves us with a lot of different feelings. Maybe we're angry that a place we loved is no longer there. Maybe you're feeling confused, thinking to yourself, "I went there all the time, why would they close? I thought business was good?" And maybe it leaves you curious, asking yourself what's going to take over the now vacant spot.

A lot of locals in Bayville are feeling this way, after a very popular fried chicken spot is now closed, and to be honest, I don't think any of us saw it coming.

People are commenting on the business's Facebook page that they've been getting their fried chicken craving taken care of here for the past 3 decades, and are confused as to why, seemingly out of nowhere, this place is closed.

Chicken Holiday, if you're not familiar, was known for its comfort food offerings, as well as its wings, and surprisingly good seafood.

It was a great spot to go when you wanted some good food, but didn't want to cook.
