Grand Opening Date Set For Lacey Water Park

UPDATE: According to Patch, the park is still on track for a ribbon-cutting Grand Opening on June 29th, but a soft-opening could happen June 22nd, or sometime that week. The inflatable is already in the water, and Patch has some awesome pics.

Earlier this month we told you about the new inflatable water park coming to Ocean County - and now the Grand Opening date has been set!

On Saturday June 29th, you'll be able to head to Lake Barnegat and be one of the first to check out this incredible inflatable water park:

If you're a Lacey resident who already bought a $5 seasonal beach badge, you'll be able to enjoy the park for an hour for $10. Non-residents will pay $15 for an hour. It will be open to the public from 12noon til 4pm; the park will also be available to rent for private events during off-hours.

According to the APP, there a quartet of lifeguards to ensure the safety of guests, and township police will patrol the park and monitor the area with a camera from the police station.

Lacey Township purchased the park from Commercial Recreation Specialists.
