Art Gallery Tattoo has teamed up with the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter to bring a fun, fresh event to Forked River.

It's called Tats for Tails, and it sounds like a ton of fun.

Between the hours of 11 AM and 7 PM, Art Gallery Tattoo will be doing flash tattoos for $40 a piece, and for $60, you can get your tattoo in color.

Flash tattoos are just pre-drawn tattoo designs that the artists come up with. For events like this, it makes it easier when you want to tattoo a large number of people.

Tats For Tails Proceeds Go To Support Local Animal Shelters

Proceeds from the event go to support the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, which helps find homes for homeless animals by running adoption events throughout the year, as well as running TNR maintenance with feral cats.

The Tats for Tails event is happening on Saturday, April 25th, between the hours of 11 AM and 7 PM, and it's happening at 442 Lacey Road in Forked River

Tattoos are done on a first come first serve basis, so if you want to make sure you get your name on the list, you'll want to show up early that day.

The event is also cash only.
