Big changes are coming to Downtown Toms River, as well as Brick, and if you're a fan of fancy, craft cocktails and you live in Brick, then you should be pretty excited about this.

A beloved local distillery is getting ready to move from it's location in Toms River, where it's been for years and years, to a new location in Brick.

At first, a lot of people just thought this place was closing, and since this is one of, if not the, only distillery in Ocean County, that would have been a bummer.

But it looks like this popular distillery and cocktail bar isn't closing its doors, but rather, moving to a newer location.

Garden State Distillery has announced that it's moving to a new location in Brick.

I'm excited for them, in the sense that this seems like a good move for them; however, I loved having Garden State Distillery in Downtown Toms River. Every time there was a festival or parade, my wife and I would sit with fancy cocktails and overlook Washington Street while we watched whatever was happening out front.

Where In Brick, NJ Is Garden State Distillery Moving To?

Garden State Distillery's new location in Brick will be at 580 Brick Boulevard, and this new location puts them right in the heart of the action in Brick.

The new location is in a large strip mall, where Brick Boulevard meets 528, and should mean they have more foot traffic, which is great.

When Will Garden State Distillery Open In Brick, NJ?

No word on exactly when Garden State Distillery's new location in Brick will open.

This, of course, leaves the question, though, what's going to move into the distillery's old location in Toms River? It's some seriously prime real estate, so a new bar, or restaurant would be fantastic!
