Popular NJ Distillery Is Opening a Bar on Long Beach Island

Jersey is known for having a fantastic craft brewery scene, and recently we ranked 25 of the best breweries in Jersey; more on that here if you're in the mood to grab a draft after work today.

But Jersey is also home to a lesser-known scene, and that's the craft distilling scene.

New Jersey Is Home To Some Great Distilliries

At one point in time, there was a distillery in Downtown Toms River, Garden State Distillery. They've moved on from their Toms River location and are preparing for bigger and better things in Brick. More on Garden State Distillery's move here.

One of my personal favorite distillers right now is Battle Ground Distilling. It's one of only a handful of female-owned distilleries in the state, and their Battle Ground Bourbon is out of this world.

There's another up-and-coming distillery in Jersey that's starting to make waves, and now that they're close to opening their facility in LBI, people are getting excited, myself included.

LBI Distilling Is A Well Known Name In NJ

Odds are, you've heard of LBI Distilling at some point. They distill and supply their Vodka, Gin, and rum to bars all over the Jersey Shore. What you may not know is that they're getting closer to opening their brick-and-mortar bar in LBI.

What will set LBI Distilling apart from other distilleries in Jersey is that it's located on the island of LBI and will offer two unique vibes, depending on what you're looking for.

The upstairs portion of LBI Distilling will feel more like your classic bar. It'll have the music going, and it'll feel like a lively party with good friends and good times. Then, there's the downstairs lounge. This is where I'm looking forward to checking out when this place opens.

It's a small lounge that can seat about a hundred people, and offers live music and entertainment while you sip on some craft cocktails.

When Will LBI Distilling Open In LBI, NJ?

LBI Distilling has been in the works for years, and according to their website, they're eyeing an opening in March of 2026.
