Claremont Distillery in Fairfield usually produces a variety of bourbon, vodka, and moonshine - but now they're switching from booze to hand sanitizer.

Tim Koether, the owner of Claremont, said his wife was getting worried after she was unable to find hand sanitizer at any of their local stores. The obvious solution was right in front of him, and he is planning to distill a liquid that is 95% alcohol, then combining it with aloe vera to create hand sanitizer.

The best part? It won't be for sale. Instead, Koether will be donating the hand sanitizer to those in need.
