I've been to The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park many times for weddings, but I have stayed overnight at the hotel.

I have heard many people including staff workers at the hotel say that the hotel is actually haunted, but of course, you never know for sure.

It is a beautiful place with high ceilings and awesome decor, and it DOES look like a place that would be haunted. I could totally see a movie like The Shining being filmed there.

Just in time for Halloween, The Berkely Ocean Front Hotel in Asbury Park is doing something pretty cool.

It's "The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel presents The Haunting", where you will take a tour of thirteen sealed-off "haunted" rooms

According to the website:

Guests will have the opportunity to score amazing Halloween pictures and be totally freaked out as they tour 13 haunted rooms across the sealed off areas of the hotel. For over 100 years, the Hotel has been the center of Asbury's paranormal activity. In 1910, the SS Morro Cruise Ship exploded and washed ashore in a fiery blaze - just yards from the hotel entrance. For Halloween 2020, it's finally time to unseal the terror that's been locked away at the Berkeley. Are you ready for a Spooky Fun time?

The haunted experience runs October 23rd- October 25th, and then October 27th, through November 1st.

Tickets are $50 for general admission and there is also a 21+ VIP Experience that features seating at the exclusive Halloween speakeasy inclusive of a welcome cocktail, passed hors d'oeuvres & spooky drink specials which costs $100

For $666.66 you can purchase a VIP overnight experience
