The Lakewood BlueClaws are holding an awesome Halloween event at First Energy Park in Lakewood on Friday, October 30th.

It's the inaugural "BooClaws Spooktacular", presented by RWJBarnabas Health, NJR Home Services, and the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

BooClaws Spectacular will feature a costume parade for kids, low-contact trick-or-treating, and the movie Hocus Pocus shown on the jumbo video board at 7 p.m.

That sounds like a lot of fun!!

Tickets are just $10 bucks for the evening and only 450 tickets will be sold due to state regulations with outdoor gatherings. Masks will be required when walking around First Energy Park

The doors open at 6 p.m, and fans are permitted to bring lawn chairs or blankets to watch the movie from the field.

According to BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti:

This is certainly a unique Halloween around the Shore, but the BlueClaws are excited to help -do what we can to provide a fun and safe option for families, We look forward to a spooky, fun, and safe Halloween!

This event has a rain date of Sunday, November 1st

The BlueClaws had to get creative this past summer to get fans in the park for some fun by hosting a bunch of fireworks and movie nights at the stadium due to the baseball season being canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hopefully, we will back in the stadium next summer and watch some live baseball in the stands again!
