Brick Couple Wins $1.3 Million Lotto

Keith S. of Brick surprised his wife with a text message. He sent a picture of a lotto ticket, which she first thought was a $100 winner. A nice sum, but nothing to freak out over. When she took a second look at the picture, she realized it was a jackpot-winner for the Win For Life contest.

That contest offers $5,000 a month for life, or a lump sum of $1.275 million. For reasons unbeknownst to me, they chose the cash.

Keith does look a bit older than me, so I guess I can understand taking the lump sum rather than go monthly.
