In New Jersey news today we got word that a Garden State resident is a new millionaire following a NJ Lottery scratch-off ticket that was sold at the Jersey Shore and paid out one million dollars.
The answer is pretty good. That's the good news. The bad news is that winners who bought their ticket in New Jersey, are hit with the second highest withholding percentage in the country.
Because one of the 48 participating lotteries was still processing its sales and play data the drawing could not happen on time, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association.
