I was recently driving through Brick Township, along Route 70, when I noticed a new construction site....at least new to me.

I haven't been through Brick, along Route 70, in a while....so I wasn't familiar with this project. A new Super Wawa is going up, right on Route 70 near Cedar Bridge Avenue.

Do you think this area of Brick Township needs a gas/food station? There is a lot of traffic in this area, so I’m sure it will be a very busy location. By the way they are currently accepting applications for this new Brick location......CLICK HERE  for more details.

Thing I was considering was......does Wawa sell more gallons of coffee ☕️ or gallons of gas ⛽? Hmmm I am thinking coffee! Speaking of Wawa coffee, don’t forget FREE COFFEE TUESDAY if you have their app, get their coffee today.

So as we get closer to summer, folks in Brick Township will have an additional source for food & gasoline with the addition of this Super Wawa. So if you live in this of Ocean County, do you like this addition or is it over-saturation in an area that already has a lot of traffic? Post your comments below, we always encourage you at home to sound off and let us know what YOU think.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
