See Drone Footage Of A Nearly-Empty Jersey Shore
For the most part, people behaved this weekend. There were a few reports of large crowds being broken up, but it seemed like most people tried to maintain social distancing.
Right before things re-opened, Valenti Vision Films took a drone to fly over Toms River and Seaside Heights to show what the Jersey Shore looks like during a lockdown.
It's funny how much cars stand out in that video. Everything looks so still that when your eye catches that random car moving in the background, it looks totally out of place. It's a stark contrast to the usual pictures of packed beaches, crowded boardwalks, and plenty of traffic. Obviously it's only the beginning of May, so it will be seen how much of a 'summer' we really get at the Shore.
