Pro-Postal Service Rally Planned In Toms River

A couple days ago I gave you detailed instructions on how to vote by mail. To reiterate, I'm not here to convince you who you should or should not vote for. I understand that this issue is inherently political, but I don't want to just turn this into a political attack on either side. Most of us are set in our ways, and we are not going to convince the other side to join us.

I hate that I even have to include disclaimers like that, when all I want to talk about is a protest happening just blocks away from the Hawk studio in downtown Toms River.

Tomorrow, rallies in support of the United States Postal Service are taking place all over New Jersey. The first is scheduled for 10am at the Lyndhurst Post Office. The rally at the Toms River Post Office on Water Street is scheduled from noon til 1pm.

I'll be honest, part of this is giving the information so you can attend, and part of it is so you can know to avoid a certain area. I don't expect this to be a riot, but if your daily commute sends you down Water Street around lunchtime, there might be some additional traffic, so you may consider an alternate route, or giving yourself some extra time.
