How To Apply To Vote By Mail

Hi. I know the world is going crazy for about a million reasons, and every day it seems to get inexplicably, exponentially crazier. Without diving too deep into anything, I think we can all agree that the 2020 election is super-important. I know that my entire life people have said "this is the most important election ever", but somehow this time it seems more truth than hyperbole. I wish I could say "I don't care who you vote for, just vote", but I honestly DO care who you vote for. While I do care, I also know that I'm not going to convince any red person to vote blue or any blue person to vote red, or anyone to vote third party, or any third party voter to vote mainstream, or anything. I'm not going to change your mind, you're not going to change mine.

That said, between a pandemic and the squeezing of the United States Postal Service, I feel more comfortable getting my vote in via mail-in ballot, rather than at a polling place. Turns out, the President feels the same as I do. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me, right?

Here's how to get your mail-in ballot:

Once you get your ballot in the mail, you can fill it out and return it, the earlier the better. You can pretty much follow steps five and six as shown above, and either place it in the mail (not my choice) or hand-deliver it to the County Clerk in your county (this is what I'll be doing).
