Ocean County Dog Has Been in Shelter Over 610 Days – Needs Christmas Miracle Family!
Meet Paddington, Paddington has been at the Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River for 610 days and nights. Paddington has been at the shelter longer than any other dog currently there. Let's share this tale (pun intended) and get Paddington a home for Christmas.
Paddington is a 5 year old pit bull that was one of many dogs that came in from abusive situation back in March 2015. Even though he was treated pretty badly in his former life, Paddington holds no ill will toward anyone. He positively loves people! He spent over a year in our Tinton Falls facility, making friends and having a good time with all of his buddies there, but no one ever offered him a home so Paddington is at Popcorn Park Zoo now, hoping to get discovered. Paddington has some scars from the poor treatment he received in his former home and we truly hope that his scars will not cause him to be overlooked. He's such a beautiful boy, both inside and out. He has a warm and bubbly personality and such a sense of humor. He's the type to flop on his back, mid-walk, just to roll around in the grass, or grab something from you and take off running, looking as if he's laughing all the while! He's such a goofball, and super sweet too. Paddington is even fine with other dogs, but will need a home with no cats.
Please go in and meet him and give him the chance at the great home that he's never had.
