If you've ever listened to my afternoon show on 105.7 The Hawk, or have talked to me in person, there's one thing you'll probably pick up on real quick.

I love all things BBQ and smoked meat.

Whether it's talking about the best ways to season a pork butt before throwing it on a slow smoker for 16 hours, or what kind of pellets go best with what type of meat, talking BBQ is a big pass time of mine.

Of course, the best part of any BBQ is getting to eat it.

And in New Jersey, there's never a shortage of good places to get BBQ.

Big Barlow's BBQ just re-opened a small smokehouse in Stafford Township and is serving up some great food.

Another spot that's a little out of the way but still worth the trip is Red White and Que, which serves up a wild-smoked bologna sandwich.

Recently, a list was released outlining what people in New Jersey thought were some of the most "off the radar" BBQ spots in New Jersey.

These are places that may be a little more off the beaten path or may not have the amount of recognition that they deserve.

What's cool about the list is that it takes us all over Jersey, not just around the Jersey Shore.

I think that's cool because how many times do you have the conversation that you're in a rut, and are always going out to eat at the same places?

Why not switch it up a little bit, and check out some of Jersey's most 'off the radar' BBQ joints?
