Beloved New Jersey BBQ Joint Plans On Re-Opening Its Restaurant Soon
A popular BBQ joint in Ocean County is getting some new life breathed into it, as it gets ready to re-open its restaurant after closing in 2021.
And let me tell you, there's nothing I love more than hearing some new BBQ is coming to the Jersey Shore.
Now, I love putting a pork butt, or whole chicken on the smoker, and letting it cook low and slow for 16 hours it's one of my favorite things to do.
Sometimes though, going out to a BBQ joint is a little more fun.
It's less work on my end and frankly, it always tastes a little bit better.
There are too many amazing barbecue joints around New Jersey to count.
One of my favorites is right in Bayville, off route 9 Smokies Craft BBQ has awesome slow-smoked pulled pork sandwiches and brisket
Another spot that's great will actually bring the BBQ right to the office; Dickey's Barbecue Pit.
And if you want to make a ride out to Woodbine, Surf Dog Bar and Grill has a killer brisket sandwich.
Coming back to Ocean County though, there was a really popular BBQ joint that actually had to close up shop in 2021 due to the rising cost of meat.
Fortunately, it looks like they'll be re-opening their restaurant, and serving up delicious BBQ for Stafford Township and all of New Jersey.
This place is known for its ribs, pulled pork, chicken, sausage, and of course all the traditional BBQ sides you could want.
For a while, the entire BBQ business was working out of a food truck, which honestly, is not a bad way to serve up BBQ in my opinion.
However, after some planning, it looks like Big Barlow's BBQ will be re-opening on February 28th in the Manahawkin section of Stafford.
According to APP, they'll be open from 11 AM to 8 PM Tuesday through Saturday, and you can swing in for a bite at 420 N. Main Street in Stafford.
