Piano bars seem to be having a resurgence in popularity, and I'm not complaining about it. At the shore, Salty Dicks Piano Bar and Kitchen is getting ready to take over Ortley Beach sometime next Spring. More on that here: the owner is the same person who runs Bakin' Bagel, Ricky Bagels, and Angelina's. I was lucky enough to get a quick little behind-the-scenes tour of the new restaurant and piano bar over the weekend, and there's some great stuff coming to Ortley.

A New Piano Bar and Restaurant Is Coming To Ridgewood, NJ

High Line Piano Bar and Restaurant is coming soon to Ridgewood, and it's going to occupy the second floor of the Steel Wheel Tavern, according to NJ.com.

High Line Piano Bar and Restaurant Features A Full Menu

The new piano bar is located at 51 N. Broad, and in addition to regular live music, the piano bar will also feature a kitchen that makes exquisite small plates and large shareable options as well.

As far as musical entertainment, the small venue will feature weekly jazz music, pianists, and even DJs on the weekends, so there's a little something for everyone.
