National Weather Service Confirms NJ Tornado
Last night I was home watching the Yankee game when the TV suddenly cut out, and the screeching EAS alert popped up warning me of the possibility of a tornado in Ocean & Burlington Counties.
It seems the target was a bit off, because the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Harrison Township in Gloucester County.
Despite the low quality, that's still pretty damn scary. If you freeze-frame at the last second, you can definitely see a funnel cloud - the only question would be how big it was and how long it touched down, and we're still waiting to hear from the NWS.
