In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, one of the most important tools that has helped New Jersey residents get through the destruction and devastation is social media.
More than ever people have been turning to Facebook and Twitter, to leave their comments on where to get and receive help. They also have been showing what is going on in their neighborhood with photos, and giving updates on the utility companies
People will tell you what places need supplies. What organizations have TOO MUCH supplies. People have been absolutely amazing in giving out information for where people can get a hot meal, or take a shower.
