We can't head to stadiums or arenas to see live music this summer. We can't even really see bands in smaller venues. The Clubhouse of Toms River is here to help, and is bringing a series of outdoor, drive-in concerts to downtown Toms River.

The Clubhouse did a test run with a pop-up show on June 28th, and the success of that concert gave them the green light to move forward with a full summer concert series.

Here's the way it all works: a parking lot at the corner of Water and Irons Street can accommodate up to 100 vehicles. For guaranteed admission, you can email theclubhousetr@gmail.com with the license plate of the car you will be arriving in. After 100 cars have signed up, the concert will be "sold out".

The lot will open at 5:30pm and close at 6pm. The show will run from 6-7:30pm. Concert-goers will have to stay in their car the whole time, and can listen to the concert through their car radio. The show is free, but donations are welcome and will go to the benefit The Clubhouse of Toms River and Color of Change.

Here's the lineup of original artists scheduled to perform:

July 12 | Wyndup Kid / Ogbert the Nerd
July 19 | Teenage Halloween / Heather Hills*
July 26 | Have a Good Season / Beauty
August 2 | Drew the Recluse (of Black Suburbia Music Group)

*July 19 Showtimes: 6:30pm lot opens, 7:15-8:30pm show.
