Jersey Shore Covid-19 Positive Cases Summary

As the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic continues our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will continue to post a report of all the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County to help give an idea of where we've been and where we are currently sitting at the Jersey Shore.

Over the last week in Ocean County there have been 15,632 positive cases as of Friday afternoon October 16, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County over the past week:

• Saturday October 10: 99 new cases reported bringing total to 15,026.
• Sunday October 11 : 31 new cases reported bringing total to 15,057.
• Monday October 12 : 118 new cases reported bringing total to 15,175.
• Tuesday October 13: 252 new cases reported bringing total to 15,427.
• Wednesday October 14: 96 new cases reported bringing total to 15,523.
• Thursday October 15: 46 new cases reported bringing total to 15,569.
• Friday October 16: 63 new cases reported bringing total to 15,632.

Over the last week in Monmouth County there have been 13,878 positive cases as of Friday afternoon October 9, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley and since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County over the past week:

• Saturday October 10: 87 new cases reported bringing total to 13,472.
• Sunday October 11 : 55 new cases reported bringing total to 13,527.
• Monday October 12 : 38 new cases reported bringing total to  13,565.
• Tuesday October 13: 79 new cases reported bringing total to 13,644.
• Wednesday October 14: 80 new cases reported bringing total to 13,724.
• Thursday October 15: 72 new cases reported bringing total to 13,796.
• Friday October 16: 82 new cases reported bringing total to 13,878.
