Summer 2022 Will Be Awesome – Downtown Night Out is Back in Toms River, NJ

How many days are left until summer?

Exciting news - Downtown Night Out is back for another year!  If you've never been, it's a lot of fun.  It's when all the businesses on Washington Street open, and there's outdoor shopping, dining, and music.  It's really become a favorite summer tradition in Ocean County.

According to the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District's website, Downtown Night Out will return on Friday and Saturday nights from May 13th through October 29th.

They also shared the participating restaurants that'll be open for outdoor dining on the streets: Capone's, Crave, and A Thyme for All Seasons.  Other downtown restaurants will still be open for dining.

I love that Toms River is continuing Downtown Night Out.  It started back in 2020 as a way for everyone to enjoy local dining during the pandemic, and obviously, it was a hit!  It really highlights all of the wonderful local shops and eateries we have here.  I wonder if Sáfu Sushi will join in once it's open and running.

This is a perfect way to end the workweek or have some fun during the weekend.  It's also family-friendly, or a great date night or friend hang-out option.

I'll say it before, and I'll say it again.  We are so lucky to live in a great community that is always going above and beyond to plan exciting activities.  I'm looking forward to 2022 Downtown Night Out, and hope it's a summer tradition for years to come!
