A few weeks ago I was in Boston with my wife for a wedding, one morning we decided to go get a few bagels for everyone we were staying with.
Being from Jersey I of course had to pick up a breakfast sandwich to see how they rate compared to the Garden State.
Needless to say, it didn't hold a light to what you're used to after living in Jersey.
Jersey just has the best breakfast sandwiches, more on that right here.
Now, if you want a good breakfast sandwich in Jersey, you just have to throw a stone and you'll hit one.
Earlier this week I swung by Bagel Bistro and Grill in Toms River, and just a simple egg and cheese bagel on a fresh bagel absolutely blew me away!
But if I were to ask you who made the best bagels in Jersey, would you be able to answer confidently?
It's like anything in Jersey, when it comes to food just picking one place as the best is a real challenge, but the experts at Tasting Table believe they find each state's best bagel shop.

Granted, this place according to Tasting Table has bagels that tend to run on the sweeter side of things and come in crazy flavors like sugar cookie and brownie bite.
But they also make over-the-top mouth-watering breakfast sandwiches, so you really get the best of both worlds.
According to Tasting Table, the Bagel Nook is the best bagel shop in all of New Jersey, I mean just check out what they call the Fatty.
