Anymore, I'm never surprised when I see a  'best of' list on the internet, and our state of New Jersey makes the list.

Whether it's the best small towns, the best Italian restaurants, or the best hidden gems, Jersey is usually somewhere on the list. Like just the other week, I saw that the Hotel Albatross in Ocean Grove was ranked one of the best boutique hotels in the world!

Similar to a hotel is a bed and breakfast, and a B&B in the Garden State was just ranked as one of the best places in the country to stay, and no huge surprise here, it's located right near the Jersey Shore.

A B&B is like a hotel, except it's typically run out of a modified home and serves breakfast. My wife and I stayed at one when we went to Pittsburgh a few years ago, and it was a really fun experience.

According to NJ.com, the Queen Victoria was ranked as one of America's best B&Bs. Part of that is its distance to the ocean, less than a block from the beach, and its amazingly luxurious rooms.

The Queen Victoria is also known for its buffet-style breakfast and afternoon teas.
