Say Hello To The Atlantic City Blackjacks!

We've been waiting with bated breath for the Arena Football League to announce the name of Atlantic City's new team.

The announcement came from Ovation Hall inside Ocean Resort Casino last night. Fans were asked for submissions. From those entries, the parent company, Trifecta Sports and Entertainment, narrowed them down to the top five.

And the winner is:

First things first, the logo is pretty awesome. It's going to look fabulous on t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc. Can't wait to get our hands on some epic merchandise!

There's not a lot of time for the Blackjacks to get themselves in game-mode, and the organization isn't wasting any time. They've already announced the quarterback: Warren Smith of Forked River.

The first game will be on Saturday, April 27th against the Philadelphia Soul at the Wells Fargo Center. The home opener is set for the following Saturday, May 4th, at Boardwalk Hall against Columbus!
