So I find these this morning sitting at my front door, and my first reaction is "REALLY"? "What the hell are those"? I also thought "This would be perfect if I had a fire pit"

Is this necessary anymore? With cell phones, computers, etc I couldn't even tell you the last time I used one of these. And just think about all those poor trees

The only possible reason I can understand that phone books are even needed anymore is for senior citizens and people who are computer illiterate , and possibly those who live in the "sticks" where cell service is scarce. I think it's a waste if EVERYONE is still getting them delivered to their house

Do you still use phone books? And if so, what else are you/or someone you know still using that "no one" is?
