Watch Fall Fireworks On LBI

This summer, we saw most if not all of our big fireworks shows postponed or cancelled. Lots of towns had the traditional Fourth of July fireworks moved to Labor Day, or just put off until 2021.

Fantasy Island on Long Beach Island was one of the areas that held a big show on Labor Day Weekend, and they're doing it again this weekend for a big Fall Fireworks Spectacular!

You and your friends and family can head to Fantasy Island in Beach Haven for a big fireworks show starting at 8pm. The fireworks will be launched between 7th and 8th streets, so the park at Fantasy Island will be perfect for viewing. Social distance and safety protocols are still being followed in the park, so be sure to wear your mask, and stay a safe distance between people that aren't in your party.

My older daughter has always been kind of afraid of fireworks. She likes the bright colors, but has always hated the noise. She's had a bit of cabin fever lately, even as Pre-K has started. It's understandable, since we weren't able to do much of anything during the summer, so it's catching up with her. Maybe heading out to Long Beach Island to run around Fantasy Island and watch some fireworks will be the perfect family outing this weekend!

The weather looks decent for this weekend, although at the moment it's supposed to be kind of cloud on Saturday before rain moves in on Sunday. In case the forecast changes, you should keep an eye on the Facebook Event Page for any updates.
